Even though Extira Panels can be mistaken for MDF, they do not perform like MDF. Ready Pine brings the warmth of real pine to walls and ceilings without the sanding, staining and sealing. Each board is finished in the factory in Waterloo, Ontario, and end-matched, so installers get clean joints, less waste and a finished surface the moment the last board goes up. Ready Pine panels are made from select tight-knot pine grown in British Columbia's Kootenay region. Water-based stains and a UV-cured, low-sheen topcoat give an even, durable finish that's sealed on the back to resist warping. Use it on feature walls, vaulted ceilings, and covered porch ceilings and soffits. Nicholson Cates stocks the range for dealers and builders across Canada.
